Like I said before, the water out here has been like glass for a while.
I'll get you guys some more pics this weekend and try to sway your vote.

I stayed on a house boat out of Callville Bay and we drove it up past the narrows .
We beached it just past the Narrows and out of the four days we were out there , one day was the day I seriously feared for my life .
All the other days were OK , Sunday and monday it was eerie how calm it was out there .
I'll try and shoot my load towards the end of the season on a trip out there.

Intersting story about Big River.
It's on the Cali side yet runs and operates on the AZ side .
15 minutes below the Blue Water Resort.
The current runs pretty good and therefore there is damn near NO CHOP OR WAKE .
This is the same stretch of water where you'll find V-Drive Regattas being filmed ,
IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY no less !
Imagine that .
V-drives running a buck plus , in the middle of the day , all day , any day .
Fathers day is a big weekend for the V-Drive guys too .
Ehhh , water dont come up till 9ish .
By then your nice and lubed up anyways .
I love it .
Set up camp .
Pull up to it .
Bada bing.
Bada boom.

Bring extra anchors and lots of rope and keep an eye on the water levels.
And stay outta my cove if the boat is rockin' (we'll be done in an hour or so)

We had a house in Big River for a while (sold it) it was cool, you could take an air mattress and a hundred foot of rope tied to the shore and rudder yourself out like 20' from shore and watch hot rods screwoff and break stuff all day, needed to use SPF 900 though, you looked like a Crawdad when you came in otherwise...

I was at naciemento this weekend and it was amazing. water level is a little low but not to low. it made for nice beaches and more camoing in the overflow. Water wasn't to dirty either.

No code.
The last time I tried the whole group rate thing there was alot of ho-humming and this and that and what not.
That is the Big River Inn.
It is essentially on the water and the ramp is literally next door.

I was just at parker last weekend awsome time! Kinda still a new Dad (2yr old son) so I might have to take advantage of fathers day! My new engine i'm not done with but the old stocker runs 58 gps all day

The RV park to the north is a private park.
LITERALLY ! Next door is a driveway that leads down to bitchin park called "the Dock."
There is also a sign out front that reads the same.
I dont know if the RV park ever put up a gate like they told me they would.
