ive gotten every excuse in the book from a few people....and have come back with simple solutions for their delemas....bottom line is people are going to miss a great weekend.

rooms are still available in town (10 minutes away)....its in 3 weeks....

i invite you all to come as this is going to be my bachelor party weekend before i get hitched.

just so you guys know, the big river inn is a short walk from the only bar in big river. and you should WALK there. there was quite the patrol last year in the area. 40 some duis in 2 weeks.
the v-drive regatta is no more. but the family that puts it on still has a ton of flatties show up at their house. alot of nice 100+ hardware shows up.
I will be out there. if you see me come by and get a bud light, even though i know 90% of you drink coors.

I am really going to try to make this one. Sounds like it should be a great weekend. We are just down at Water Wheel so I'd probably tow the boat up in the morning and just launch there, but we'll see.

also.... what does the ramp look like at big river? what's it comparable with? i am thinking about dragging the kona out there with my exploder sport trac.

i know if i can't pull it out i can just get one of you diesel pusher owners to pull it out

You shouldn't have any problem with the ramp just be easy on the gas.

Had to help a guy launch his boat at Mead the other day. He couldnt back his Sport Trac any further into the water, it was already at the bottom of the back doors. The loading should be intersting!

It's really a easy ramp there's 2 ramps. If the wheels spin put it in low and click the ebrake on one click, it helps to keep the wheels from spinning

with the southwind i never had a problem but i havn't launched the day cruiser yet, with the sport trac, which does need to go deeper. i am up a little with a small lift and some 33's

the only time i ever had a problem was at elsinore

which is the least steep ramp i've been on but it's just so damm slippery.
