be a big party in ft mohave aka launch beach cool times

Ive done every memorial day of my life down there on the willow beaches,  always launched at circle beach and headed up or down a few beaches to drink and throw shoes like we have done the last 27 years and my dad for probably 20 before that, BUT, last year was my last. I said it was my last the year before as well but love it down there. Anyways your guys "party" involves being total assholes. Every year its people either starting fights with us or blocking the ramp with a truck that has a sign on it that says "tows $20" and making us back into the soft shit and get stuck. Last year some asshole parked his pontoon purposely blocking the ramp so we couldnt get out and he was sitting in it! I walked over from the next beach and asked him nicely to move and he said no and if you have a problem with that go talk to them. I had to go pull out at the avi. Everyone down there got this complex of "locals only" mother fuckers ive been on these beaches and funning around mohave valley my whole damn life. Yes we're weekender sbut who  gives a flying fuck!  Sorry if this isnt you directly but this shit is not what we go to the river for. I got all fired up typing that.

They actually have to have two reasons to pull you over.
Aka- no lights and speeding.

We were at circle beach or the one next to it on a non holiday weekend the year before last, and set up camp around 10:00 am on a Saturday. We had a 25 ft party barge, a jet boat, and a sea doo. The locals started showing up around 2:00 to 3:00, and the next thing we know, are surrounded on both sides. They kinda just took over and let their kids run amok through our camp. There were several MMA wana bees, and after they got tuned up, decided to play tap out, and ended up into our canopy. My daughter tried to stop them and ended up getting punched in the nose by one of them. There was 30 or 40 of them and only 8 of us. My son went ballistic and went after the first one he found, which turned out not to be the one doing the hitting. This then started a mini riot which ended with us throwing our stuff on the pontoon and leaving. The only good thing that happened was the fat F***ER that hit my daughter got the S**T beat out of him in front of all of his friends by his mother right there on the beach after she found out he hit a girl. This is the reason we do not go out on holiday weekends. We stick to the week before or the week after.

We have a place in Willow Valley so we would not have to drag our stuff all over. Going to Blythe from Willow takes just as long as our place in Ca.to Willow. We have learned to avoid the major party areas and weekends, and try to leave before they get tuned up. Can you get to lost lake on the river?

Still sitting behind trailer #1 at WV. Have not had a chance to do anything with it yet. The immediate plan is to pull the pump, and donate the hull.

Willow valley its self is awesome. If i were in the position to buy thats where id buy. Its just the circle beach that is rediculous. If i had access to the willow marina id be there every trip.

You have to be member and show current registrations on your cars, boats, and watercraft to get a sticker that allows you in the marina. They have a security guard on busy weekends and the care takers at the marina check on non busy days. You can get a guest launch pass but it runs $25.00 a day. They used to let you purchase an associate membership with your own, but have not done that for a couple years. The key is to get a sticker......

I have never meet any of you in person but I am always floating around. We have a place down @ Hitler Shores. I am hoping to have the twin turbo LS powered tunnel out for Memorial Weekend. As far as people taking about hitting sandbars down south..really? I have a 24' deck and it works great. There are also a ton of wakeboard boats running around. Not sure I would have the balls, but see em all the time...
