Can't really go wrong either place.  It really comes down to what do you spend your time doing most?  I haven't been in AQ for a really long time but one thing that will never change is the river.  Down river from WW a good distance is AQ.  If you like to just float, drink, sun, fun, etc. the stretch between the two places is not busy at all and relatively straight and issue free.  If you go down river from AQ and you have trouble, you are a long way from anything.  If you have boat trouble downriver from WW, well you eventually end up at AQ.  My personal favorite stretch of the river is between WW and Lost Lake.  So so glassy for miles in the morning and evening.  Any of you ever wonder about my screen name here?  Well that is where it comes from.  We called em "bug runs" because that is the very best time of day for a mad ski rip is right at dusk and just before the bugs come out. 
The river is easy to read, and rarely a problem for jet boats with drivers who know what they are doing in both parks.  WW is close to some bad ass sand dunes, but AQ has lots of fun off road stuff too, just no dunes.  I would think that the lagoon area would be a nicer beach than WW has, but I dunno.  Either way color me jealous, fastnlight, you're living my dream (and my childhood).

How much are you looking to spend and have you checked out Lost Lake?

I bought my first place at LL for 3K! It's gonna be as nice as you make it, dirt roads are about the biggest downside. They do run a water truck all weekend long though to help. The bigger double wides will be way north of 10K, as will most of the single wide mobiles. Now a travel trailer on a spot is probably as far as 10K will take ya. Just throwing out other options, the girls in the store have a list of stuff for sale, mostly parked owned and they do deal.

Our store is nicely stocked, including boat parts. Not a ton of selection but a lot of the times it can save a trip to Parker. Fuel is in the park in front of the store, both reg and 100ll. The store cooks a little food too, they have a pizza oven that does a decent job and microwaves for the rest. People are always ordering biscuits an gravy in the morning. Definitely not a full restaurant but again, could work in a pinch and save a trip to town. There are 2 ramps, one strait into the river current and a double wide that goes into our lagoon. I've gone 3 wide there if everyone shares and plays nice lol. There are 3 areas to go to w/in about a 10 min boat ride, the upper sandbar, lower sandbar and a man made cove directly in front of the park. Kinda hard to explain that one. I hang at the lower, in the evenings we'll boat up to the bridge, Agnes Willson Rd, and float back, sometimes twice. You can also get a vehicle to the lower sandbar, jeep or golf cart. Just as another option. There is always a party in someone's garage in the evenings it seems. Holiday weekends can get busy, the owner makes event shirts every year too.

Grab a campsite for a weekend and check it out! If you want gras, ask to be on the "golf course".

How are the spots for travel trailers?  Just asking cause i would like to take my trailer somewhere close to Water Wheel and i know thats the next park.

Storage is just out in the open, behind a chain link fence.

Honest opinion, you probably won't spend much time in the park, launch at noon, party till midnight, sleep and do it all again the next night!

I'm not purposely trying to be vague, its just a little hard to describe. I never pay attention to the details cause they don't apply to me. The map below I'll do my best to explain.

The P sites are for the most part dirt, all the day use around it is grass though. The 600 sites will be grass w/ shade trees. Not all of those are available for weekends, some of those are permanent spots! The ones closest to the road (arrow that reads To Point) are usually the available ones for campers.

Also Google earth will give you a good lay of the land, it sounds lame, but seriously!

Is Lost Lake considered a party park?  Probably way more than WW or Aha. Is it loud everywhere at night?  How does it compare to MacIntyre in that way?
