Hahah, it had a Brut 440cc 2 stroke 50 hp motor that was damaged, It needed a piston, head sleaved, and a cap for the head. I found all the parts and it was about 250. Then found a motor that was the same exact price running perfect shipped. So its getting a 440 and the pump is called " The Hawk " Im guessing its a Hawk pump.. Theres pics of it in the begining of the build!

200 Hp would be better....I'll even supply the right angle drive....aluminum front diff outta something 4x4 with one side welded up and other side spooled

just got caught up on this build. I was out of town all last week. Anyway this thing looks bad ass. i dont know anything about the HAWK pump but i am guessing its the same as the mini berk. If you give the guys at skat track a call they can make you a custom impeller for about 250$ it will be stainless steel and any pitch you want. I thinkthe max is a 21degree. I have the brute 440 motor in the little hydro and it goes pretty good. but not good enough. I am going to send the pump to JBP for them to look thru it and i will most likely get a 21 degree impeller for it. If the little 440 motor wont push the 21 degree i have a 750cc sitting here just waiting.

anyway I might have to take you up on the offer to use your paint booth. Does the offer include the use of the spry guns? anyway i will pay you for your assistance as well.

Looking forward to the mini boat regatta this summer. We are going to storm Pirates cove. I think this is the 9th mini boat build iknow of going on this winter. not counting the two that i am workign on. lol

19ftDANA, I had to register here after you linked your build in my thread over on PB.com. This is a badass little Scram and I love what you are doing with it. Since it's your girls boat I wont try to talk you into dropping a bigger motor in, but if it were yours be damn sure I would be, haha. That thing could be a little rocket. It's such a unique boat and I like what you've done with the paint. Get any work done over the weekend? When you expecting to hit the water?

Color sanded and buffed the boat, coated the floor with a rubberized undercoating then carpeted it. Also started assembling the pump. yyyeeEEAAHH MON !

I was actually planning on using a rubberized coating on the inside of my boat including the bilge but was steered clear of doing that because a lot of people said it would soak up oil and stain. I still think it would have held up good, especially on the interior. Did you spray it with a gun or was it the rattle can stuff? It looks really nice, especially with the carpet too! I think I am going to go with black HydroTurf on the inside. The pump looks awesome. Looks brand new on there. My pump and nozzles were all flaking and corroded. I used sand paper and finished with scotch brites to get it back to a smooth finish but they desperately need paint now.

Did yours require any sanding or prep to get them looking like that with paint?

Just saw your Bow Design on the SCJB Instagram!!! SKILLLLZ dude!!!! Looks so sick!!!!!! It would look perfect to put your CA numbers in silver right on that black line on the bow. Maybe that's why you did the design like that.

Thanks Lil wake, and yes I plan on putting the Cf #s in the black areas on the upper sides. It took a while to think of something because I didn't want to just lay the #s down right over graphics so I had to some how make a graphic that has a specific spot just for the #s.

Whats up lil wake? Ya a few updates have been done, paint/pin striping is all done, cf#s all done, name on the back all done which is " Sun Bum's " ... Ill post a few pics tomorrow, Now its going to be time for all the accessories and what not.. Hows yours doing? I cant wait to gps this thing and see how slow it goes hahahahha..
