« on: July 07, 2009, 11:48:21 AM »250 HP out of a 4.3? they came from the factory with only 205 HP. What's been done to it? I have a Kodiak Marine 4.3 Vortec I would love to build up.it is a 4.3 mpi running corsa performance thru hull rated at 225 hp on a volvo prop drive so im just guessamating but gaining the 10% loss going thru the gears that would add 22.5 hp at the crank making it 247.5 hp i rounded it off to 250 hp

im running a 4.3 liter v6 in my boat 250 hp and getting 52 mph gps out of it so i think that it would be able to do that,but im no genius this is my first jet

i put new car tires on my boat trailer about 2 years ago and pulled it from alabama to illinois about 375 miles one way didnt have a problem with them and im still running them. the tits havnt even wore off yet.

With one of the race cars I use to work with, We let the painter loose with only the colors we wanted and his imagination.
Luckily it looked good.

a few years back my brothers boat caught on fire. (no flame arrestor)burnt the wiring off the engine before he got it out. minor fire but when he was putting it back on the trailer a barge cam by and swamped it while loading wench rope broke and the boat slid back in the water i told him to get it back in the water before the barge got there he wouldnt listend!

what do you think it would be worth with cable and manual control?
