(It's on the side by my leg) I do grab it quite often... It's got nothing to do with being scared or anything like that... It's more just to help me keep my ass in my seat at certain times! 😁

Things are good!!!  Got some unexpected shenanigans goin on next week... But other then that we are just enjoying the nice weather while getting the itch for summer!  Sean's in 'go' mode with the boat and we are counting down the days till the first trip! Brad dont get discouraged.... I agree with Justin.... Check the pioneer (we all had a great time and made memories there last time :))))). Otherwise just set the date and let everyone do their own accommodations... We all will meet up on the water at some point and at night too.

Lol!!! No worries dude!!!  I know it's kinda rare to see or hear from a girl on here... Lol!!!  My husband and I are very good friends with Brad, so I like to watch the forums...  A lot of the guys on here crack me up! :)  plus we make all the meets... If you do too we will hafta introduce ourselves! :)

Oh!!  Yes on the infant life jacket!!! An absolute must!!! The infant ones have that pillow like pad on the back by their head.  It's kinda annoying for them, but it has something to do with how they would float if something were to happen.  I know people think it'll make them too hot with it on, but dipping them in the water keeps them cooled off.  We have always kept it on Siena at all times (I would just unzip it a little if she would fall asleep when she was a baby) and she has never complained about having to wear it to this day.  If you never take it off from the beginning, they learn that it's just part of the drill.  We have seen and heard about devastating occurrences involving young children and infants all because they had no jacket on... And more likely then not, the parents are only a few feet away....  Why would anyone want to take that chance?...

By the way... How'd your little one do out there this weekend?

I was raised as a river rat... My parents always had jet boats.... Was at the river at 6 weeks old.  My hubby (All Fired Up) and I have a 4 year old daughter who loves to be on the water!  We had her on the water at 10 months (woulda been sooner but we don't tend to go much through the winter here in Vegas... Lol). If she would get a little cranky or tired, a quick run would put her right to sleep... Otherwise, she loves it!!  I say the earlier you start them the better... And yes, ear muffs when their that little... Then as they get older, ear plugs... They make these moldable clay-type ear plugs for kids... That what we use on our daughter now.
