It's tagged on the front of your eye hook so if you pull the boat off the trailer it brakes the seal making it no good. That's how it works.

even in the local State park lake by my house .....all the Ranger at the gate  asked me was if it was loud: I said yup... it makes noise.... he said 'cool'.

 I've never been inspected.... and only once have I even talked to a water cop and that was when he came by after I launched to tell me how much he liked my float.

I have all the CG required equipment to be sure, but....it's a different world here.

They are preventing the spread of muscles. Most state lakes like big bear, Paris, and Silverwood check for them. Those lakes will tag your boat when pulling off that lake meaning you won't have to get an inspection the next time you go back.

I can see the reasoning, except if you go to ANOTHER lake/ river,that has zebras.....and then return to the lake where u r tagged??  uhhh how would that help?

We just failed a inspection at lake perris for having waterin the hull, does lake Elsinore do inspections ?

holy transom plates... they're huge. 

you should have a float switch on your bilge pump REGARDLESS.  then a manual override switch on the dash.  this is a 5000% must have for any boat.

when I bought my float last year, I noticed I had the same issues.... the filler ( epoxy ?) was cracking and missing in places around the intake .... I sanded and cleaned then used a product called liquid steel. it is a 2 part putty that you cut a piece off a roll that looks like a grey tootsie roll and knead it until its the same color.  I worked it into the gaps and smoothed it off.  one cured its  VERY hard to sand so ya got to make is smooth. That was last July ..... I've been running nearly every weekend all this summer and it does not leak and none has fallen out.  it may not be 'marine putty or the correct materials for the fix but it damn sure works

It is clear that the politician don't listen to the electorate anyway.  All they are concerned about is getting re-elected.  At this point all you can do is sit back and wait.   I suggest investing in lead and freeze dried food and join you local Tea Party.  Converting any excess paper into silver is good too.

My trailer only has the two long bunks and I am starting to have weight distribution issues so I made the two shorter outer ones. They are getting welded in on sunday.

sweeeet.   lets  see it when it's done!

replaced the bunks last weekend.... I had made the new ones at home, (UV resistant outdoor carpet remnant from Lowes..../lumber/fasteners/waterproof spray glue....about 65.00.) I took em with me to the lake. I used my mini generator and it only took about 20 min to replace them.  It only took about 30 seconds to remove the old ones.....all the fasteners were totally rusted out....I'm surprised they had not floated out.
