First off, welcome to SCJB. From the looks of it, you are in Stonegate. You have a set of Bassett twisty headers, I am also surprised that the NFL (no fun lake) let you on the water with no baffles. As said above, all exhaust requires water in a pleasure boat. And swapping from headers to logs or even through transom headers is super easy( much easier than the reverse). If you do change the system, you should have no problem unloading the OT's to help offset the cost of the conversion.

On the back of most ride plates I have seen there are adjustable support rods attached to the ride plate and jet bowl studs.

What are these called and where can I get a pair?

They are turnbuckles and pads used on cav plates. Rex, and cp sell them.

If you have access to an ocy acetaline(sp) torch. Use a small tip and heat just the broken bolt. When the part is warm (i would say just at red)  quench the whole thing. The two dissimilar metals will expand and cool at different rates, and should break the bolt free. Or you could melt wax into it. They both are a stretch but, both ways do work. Very old school but effective. I have had to use both methods many times on some of the older cars we restore at my shop.

No not able to spray it anymore, I think since 09 ive been strictly water base .. At first it sucked having to switch from solvent but now I love water base, I use Standox.. And yes thats the LPH 400 Iwata.. I also have the super nova Iwata for the clear.

Yeah, that is what I thought... We have been water base since about 09 also. Same deal, hated it at first but now it is pretty cool. I think the metalics pop better with the water base.

Yep, they are going to get cooking hot. Have you looked into having some made? I would go with jacketed headers ESP if you are going through transom still. They are not going to be cheap, but IMO it would be the best.

Nope. your pumps bowl has the steering boss' cast into it. Where as a JG and the like are called split bowls,meaning the steering nozle is a separate piece. This droop attatches between the steering nozle and the bowl.

Try Tom at JBP. They have a kit that looks nice

The aluminum from HD or any hardware store will be too hard(more than likely 6061). Go to Alternative metal supply, on Ave. Crocker. They will probably have a rem., and if it were me and I was not going to bend it to fit the radiuses. I would go no thinner than .060''
