It's a stroked 454. I thinks it's about as big as you can get with a standard deck 454. My buddy runs one in a 70 Camero and it flys. Not sure if that helps you

I'm going to try and make the big river run it will be our first run. I learned to ski there then learned to drink beer there love that place. If I make it I'm bringing my mom it's her 60th and she love that place

Gt, Chad, and flusher thanks for the help. I went with the same balacer just a new one they sent and I'm good. I talked with inovetors west and they kind of talked me out of there balance for my application. Thanks for the reference. Now it's time to get this thing on the water.

9hrs later we found the problems. First problem was I didn't put the the the timming gear on all the way. Good news was the timming gear was made in the USA lol. The balancer was bad also, good new is there refunding me and I'll order the one tomorrow that GT recommended. If I get this going I'll see you guys at the Avi be our first jetboat trip. I'll have beer and be in a blue miller boat. Thanks for the help guys.

I'm getting a dial indicator from work tomorrow. Thanks again. The balancer was made in Australia I gave summit an ear full there will to take it back.

It's is a summit SFI approved balancer not china 308$. I've had good luck with them on sbc. But I'm willing to try something dinferent. What one would you recommend. In the pic you can see the gap from the timming cover to the balancer. Thanks for the help

I just got my new woodruff key in and installed the balancer. Still have the same problem won't go on straight could my crank be bent? Thanks for the help this is my first jet and I want to get on the water.
