FWIW, I still have issues with Nitrous on Lake/River pleasure boats! I don't beleive it does much for you short of maybe 1/4 mile bursts with some dialing in of the drive for that burst. Might be fun on occassion, but the day to day use on a boat dialed in for that shot would not be a real fun ride IMO.  either way, NOS, No Olds, IMHO!

It was approaching 80's at Elsi last weekend. Hell only 60 here right now at 11 at night! This weekend looks to be pretty good weather for it! (Our winter seems to have come and gone).

Don't let the scale of the map fool you, it's LARGE across the lake from there! Right about where the "L" in Temple is is where I nearly sank mine with the loose hose that blew off! Right between 4 and 5 o'clock on Nordies red circle is where the beach we claimed is.

Nah! I really wish I'da brought the "Pickle" this weekend, if only to show you what, until yours, what a rare, original, jet boat looks like after 30 years or so of care, maintenance and slight abuse! Mine ain't CLOSE to yours! Yeah, Mines original, and kinda well cared for, considering it's age, but REALLY pretty? Nope! Might be the closest thing I've seen to compare yours to! Yours is immaculate!

It DID convince me to leave it alone and see if I can get the finish back or restored somehow, however, instead of the extreme I had planned for it!

No matter what you do Dave, you'll have, or have had, one of the sweetest pieces of history anyone has ever seen!

Well thank you! And I think Ralph will too! His lil one was great! Especially funning with her! (I think Ralph beat me to the punch on everything I tried to tell the kid! She's sharp as a razor knife!)

But, and I mean me, I would HATE to sell that thing to some punk with a trust fund only to have it destroyed!

Roxy might notta been there, but I'll tell you what, Ralph was "Parent of the Year" at this thing!  What a beautiful, fun lil girl too! I think the memories of all the shenannigans going on around her, while she was playing, she wil remember well! (As mine will! They're already committed to going next year!)

BTW, Your boat is worth MORE that 12K, IMHO. I don't think there's a cleaner original 70's jet boat in existence! Too bad there's not a Barrett-Jackson for boats!  Hmmmmmm

The group rates gonna be whatever we TELL him it's gonna be! (Skip negotiated that number last year).There was NO-ONE there last year but us!
(If you guys remember, we only rented 1/3 to less than 1/2 the motel portion, and I beleive Crewcheif had the only cabin. the rest were VACANT!, use that!, let alone what we all spent at the Boat Shop, the Bar, Restaurants, convenience store.................) He  assured me when I called to reserve a month or so ago it would be NO PROBLEM to match what I paid last year, $54 (If I remember right) a nite for 2 beds lake view.......Terry should remember as well, he reserved before I did, I think we were the first two.

Nordie, I would also, once you approach Bob with the number we get here, is let him know, we, any of us, can open this up on the other sites and make it far more than they can handle! For now, I think it needs to be an SCJB event! Once we're all in, well then, lets open it up!
