Only 1 until the Hydro is together

Fuel System is complety done all the way to the fuel fills
Dash/Guages/Switches are almost all wired up
Headers and gaskets are on
Carbs completely rebuilt
Plumbing is done
Pump and divertor is done (minus 1 gasket)

Loader needs to be put in, Hydraulics need to be mounted and hoses ran, Interior is being torn down right now and new frames being built and need to order a bunch of odds and ends.

Should be in the water before the end of the month (except the paint being done)

Got a new addition to the engine installed

Anyone got any ideas to mount the alternator? The one im using is a new/reman 3 wire alt. I dont have the sliding bracket that was originaly with the motor plates

The pivot tab on the alt does NOT reach the hole on in the engine plate. This is where I need it to go

YAY! Twin carbs! Now a scoop from Nick.................

I ain't much help on alt brackets on Chebbies tho. Mine look custom made. I'll post pics in the morning, (Boats cover is half full of water and I think I'm in for a Glasscutter ordeal on this one tomorrow, saw an empty beer can floating in it when I peeked under the cover this morning!) but they resemble Ford SCJ low mounts. (Had this same issue with Moo, amazing how something that should be simple perplexes ya).

Mounting it low like mine is, I dunno if I'da used a rebuilt one. Just thinking out loud.

They will be mounted inline. Makes it nice because I wont have the added expense of all the linkage kits.

I have the center linkage for that setup if you need it.also have some metering plates drilled out so you can run jets in the secondary,
