....I have seen everyone of those cars at VLV...Some for the last three years...If your like these styles of cars and drink beer I recommend VLV10 comin' up at the gold coast...Sells out every year and probably my favorite thing to do all year...The cars, music and the people are really freakin' cool...I've gone up there not knowing anyone and met some really cool people like the Diablos...A bunch of Canucks that make the 1500mile trip every year...It's cool ta' catch up with everyone once a year....If your cousin and friends go to VLV you should really think about makin' the trip next year Beerjet...I'll save ya' a Pabst..

Dig it! As far as the no floorboards part of it I really don't think its changed that much....The price to build 'em has gone through the roof! You still got budget builders like ya did back in the day that try to slap something together as cheap as possible and they are not mechanically inclined enough to do it right and it turns out like an unsafe POS...As far as floorboards go use a fuk'n street sign or something!! Last year I saw one with only back brakes, MECHANICAL brakes at that! Thats unexeptable behavior but shitty builders unfortunately are also a part of the rodding (or any motor sports) that unfortunately aren't going to go away.....

I DO have a problem with the people that Warlock mentioned!!!!And whom might that be? I think YOU have missed the whole point....Being the owner of a few "finished" cars I can tell you that its no fun to be at a show with every moron in the planet touching your car, road rash which just happens when you drive them...Being worried about parking lot dents....Which car do you think I like to take out the most? You guessed it...The primered rod...Not only because I like the looks but because if some kid runs their hands down the paint or it gets a ding not that big of a deal just touch it up with primer....Once you've had one you'll understand....And as far as the "business end" you've gotta be kidding...Now everyone must go down a dragstrip or to the saltflats? Thats whats wrong right there....The whole well if you have a Rod and your not going to Bonniville or the dragstrip to tear it up...Yea...Alot of them are made of mainly wood....Then your not the real deal....Piss on anyone that has a problem with what anyone does or doesn't do with their rides....
Here is a couple of shots from my cousins garage. "Upland Hot Rod Co." My cousin Victor and a top notch fabricator. Do just about everything imaginable . Last thing I saw was a whole trunk replaced with the wheel wells extended to accomodate the Z-ed frame and a new trunk floor with great lookin beads , Drilled and tapped all together with stainless fastners . No B S pop rivets or self tapping screws holding a bunch of micky fuked shit together .Finally got ta' se the pics...Sweet lookin' model A's!

This is the last car I saw there (its been months since I've been back) that a customer left just as a chassis , cab , and a motor on a stand . He's had some other very coo shit through there . I'm sure he has tons of pics too. Not bad for a union paver

Severely disapointing.I think that Boat wants a $8-10k motor since it seems to be a racing badass? Sorry ta hear about the disappointment..That really sucks....

I don't know him well personally. I just sold my old challenger to him. Everything that occured between us was smooth. I'm not saying that his show isn't planned either, it's just Jimmy Shine is a really bad actor.Really don't think he's acting....Just building cars...If it were an act and planned I'd be shocked that he would put up with that much shit from that bitch...Think he's too much of a nice guy....
God all this hatred towards Boyd. Has anyone ever spoken with him directly? I have on a few occasions, and he's been nothing but cool, polite, and funny. The show makes him come across as worse, but he's a nice guy as far as I can tell. And if you ever see a stripped down '73 Challenger in the background of the show, don't worry, he paid in fullWhat are you talking about?? Boyd builds mostly FIBERGLASS cars....Has managed to make registering a hotrod alot harder in California since his shop was raided by the POPO since he was stamping FIBERGLASS hotrods with his own numbers and triing to pass them on as being and original old cars...Floyd Cotterpins whole show sounds EXTREMELY planned!!! There is a stripped down '73 challenger in the background thats paid in full? He paid them in full to strip it down?? Or paid them in full before the job was done? Floyd Cotterpin is a total douche bag...His show proves it....
Jimmy Shine show is cool, I watch it every Thurs, but some of the stuff he says just sounds EXTREMELY planned out to me, I like the parts where you can tell he is really saying when it comes to him. And I wanted to know last night if that Bitch ass Blonde got kicked off but now I have to wait until next episode!
