What is gonna keep ugly things from happening if you have to slam on your brakes while towing? To cover my ass, I would mod that trailer before sending it down the road. But that's just me.

hell the guy that bought my tahiti showed up with a trailer that didnt even have a bow eye bar... i chained it up, made sure he signed the release of liability and wished him good luck. i didnt get any phone calls so im guessing he made it home fine.
for $1500 it sounds like a great deal. maybe take some pics from the inside. aluminum or fiberglass tanks, what condition is the pump, hows the floor, stringers, etc. this boat shouldve been sold already. spectras are built like tanks and this one seems to be a good start for someone.
