Talked to the dude with the busted up Spectra... Sort of a dick to be honest...
Has a tired Marine Power 454 from another used boat in it, Dominator pump, tired also, gauges are gone, seats are gone, hull is done, no way it could ever be fixed, trailer is bent at the front spring hangers from the weight of the tree, pretty sure an hour on a frame machine and I could have it back to 100%.
I ask they guy "what do you really need to get out of it (I had in my mind $1000, had the cash in my pocket)" The dude looks me right in the face and without hesitation says "$4k firm"..
He says the 19 Spectra is a rare boat, this one did 85 mph on GPS (keep in mind it has a 650 spread bore Holley on it).
When I told him "but it's totaled???", he tells me that he knows a dude that can fix it for $900 and he would give me his number... LMAO
I asked him if I could take some pictures of it (it's in a barn) and he says "yeah, once you pay me in full.."

Anyway, long story short. I'm going to have to pass, probably wasn't going to be able to afford the divorce anyway...
Somebody buy this damn thing so I can quit thinking about it.
