GT
In 1963, my grandmother bought one of the first chevelles--a white coupe/283/powerglide--and drove it less than 50,000 miles over about 25 years. In the 70s, I started telling her that whenever she wanted to sell it, I'd take it, and I reminded her regularly. Anyway, when she gave up driving, she ended up giving it to her son (my uncle) who took it up to Tahoe and wore it out.
I'm sure Andrew will eventually do the restore--thanks GT for the offer, and the contact, crewchief. He's kind of a "hands on" guy--maybe he'll give it to me when he's finished for being such a great dad.
And boost, man you got this boat disease bad!! Yeah, the blue sanger mini cruiser is a nice boat. We looked for several years to find it--it was always his "dream" boat--so I don't think he'll ever sell it. In fact this spring he is building a bigger motor to push it as fast as all your 18 footers. I think i will be a real sleeper--wanna race?
