First of all new to the forum, I just recently got my first boat it's an18 ft challenger. Boat seems to be in great shape. It has a Dominator w/droop snoot and jetavator. Minor pump work was done by Jack at MPD a few years ago. I purchased the boat with no motor, it had a 460 in it with a 3 point mount and I am putting another 460 back in it. First choice was a Chevy but couldn't pass up the deal I got on the ford. Anyway my boat never had a 4 point mount in it, I am now installing with a four point mount and wasn't sure upon angle of u joint/ shaft or how critical this is.
I understand that I probably don't have a lot of room to really go up or down allowing for oil pan and such for clearances. Just looking for some advice or suggestions. I'm sure more questions will come to mind !
