So i was looking my boat over. specifically the intake for the jet and it looks like i have some of the epoxy cracking or missing.  ???

My Question is, should i remove the intake? I really dont want to as when i had the boat flipped i spent time blending it in and filling the bolt holes with filler. Can i just try to sand off whats there and re-apply marine-tex or something?

I can grab pics later today if that helps

thanks
steve

Got a little work done today. I ground out a few of the stress cracks it had in it and filled them with duraglass. I also got the boat wet sanded with 220 and ready for another coat of filler primer.

I do need to repair the nose though so I'll get that done first.

Possibly, though i think the 750 single feed may be a little small.

Is it mechanical or vacuum secondaries?

Well thanks to the advice from a few members (Jake, Hal, and Wes) I finally got the intake out. This thing was a BITCH.

Unfortunately I did cause a little damage so I'll have to do some repairs.

And a couple pics of the mess that I have inside. This weekend I'll get it cleaned out and washed down. And start the fun sanding process. Though I do plan on getting the top half finished before I get to much done so I don't have to much over spray

Just to get on the water. I already have it, its mounts, and everything else needed. The plan is to throw the olds in so that I can get it going. Then build a BBC slowly.
