id try and lowball as the upholstery is the killer here.  theres a lot of stuff missing and the engine looks a little too shiney compared to the rest of the boat... did they JUST drop it in there and bolt it up? glass or alum tanks?  you're gonna have to rip the whole thing apart and do a LOT of cleaning and replacing.  status of registration?

He actually has the exhaust and all of the rigging is there.  I have an upholstery guy where i could get it re-wrapped at a decent price.   he rebuilt the motor and recently put the Stainless lines on it.  I am guessing it hasnt been registered since we had it.  glass tanks i believe.  my biggest problem is gonna be offering the guy $2000 for a boat and not hearing the motor run.

I understand wanting this boat because of the family history but don't overspend because of history.
