Honestly though, I think I see why 2sav has so many projects, cheaper to buy the cow (Can't beleive I SAID that), than to piece shop sometimes, And you want to see them all back in condition, a vicious cycle.

Seriously, Cindy was a priority pre-school teacher, meaning she taught special needs kids. Kids that were on feeding tubes, in wheel chairs to severely autistic (Kinda like me, lol), and the Moo thing came up, she INSISTED on naming my Springer Spaniel Moo. That came from when I hooked her school up with a special Kid's Workshop at my Home Depot, then I got roped into reading to one of her classes during their "Circle time". I read one of the Moo books, the one about Halloween. Funny stuff. I was laughing and getting into it so much she made me do it quite often, and it always involved those Damn Moo books. They're so funny to read as an adult, and if you read them to kids, you automatically try to "Get into it" and it gets funnier, lol. Hence I couldn't say no to this boat, lol

What diff does it make? One or the udder? lol. Gonna leave this one alone for now I think. Once it ghets here I'll pull the engine and see how bad it is. Other than the Bassetts, it's complete, so if it's not hurt that bad, I may actually have it on the water before the Saguaro. To answer your question, I think both may make the water this spring. Spending money like I had it, lol, but can always do the 2sav thing and sell the only running boat I have, lol.

sorry to hear about your wife. the first thought that came to my mind when i saw the pics of the new boat wasnt a cow but a dalmation. you know the 101 dalmations. lol. but i guess it does look like a cow also. but like the dalmations better.

The New boat has a Berk JE pump, blown engine, yet complete. New heads, intake, cam, assoted other hardware. I MAY be able to salvage the engine. Won't know until it gets here and I get it ripped down. For now, parts from it are going on the engine for the Saguao, re The flywheel, the fuel pump, the oil pan, etc. The engine I bought was built for street/strip, so no marine stuff. Then I Have to evaluate what I gotta do to put Moo back in the water. And it will, we May sell it, but it's gonna be in the water. My best guess from everything this guy told me and my gut instinct is, it's a very salvageable engine.

My concern is, I beleive the Saguaro Hull is better than the SleekCraft. So the High HP engine is going there. If I'm wrong, let me know.

there you are. When I got the suguaro, I told my uncle, (The one who had the blown biesemeyer) I need to go BBC on it. He said No, go with what it was set up for, first. The ford has more power potential anyhow, AND you already have all the hookups. Gonna cost you more, but in then end you have a better boat. This was from a guy who back in HIS day, bought a new '64 GTO and then had Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins Build an engine for it before he even took delivery.
