The clean up looks good. I like the fittings thru the transom adapter.
Dude that sucks getting towed in after all that work. Did it just plug the filter and kill the fuel supply?
Did any of that stuff get to the carbs?

That's exactly what happened. I haven't checked the carb filters yet, but I have another inline filter after the separator. I tapped that thing out and it was clean so that leads me to believe the carb filters are clean. I'll still check them.

I asked Corey to fiberglass a bilge separator into the boat and this is what happens! At least it's not flipped upside down..

Yesterday was a busy day, but the boat should look a heck of a lot better when it's finished. We pulled the motor, pressure washed it, and painted it. We cut out the gas tanks, dumped all the sediment STILL left in them, and sanded off the old fiberglass and carpet glue. The fuel level sending units are corroded to shit, one was actually locked into place. The hull was soaked in degreaser then pressure washed.

. Yeah that's a great idea in a river boat 114 degrees black flo coat = blister feet for sure. I'm going with a high low shag carpet in mine. Not to mention to many beers flo coat = busted ass.

Mine are flo coated grey and blue. Definitely gotta watch you step. But they do look cool if they are done smooth. All up to you Jordan. I love mine but you can easily loose your footing. Got to be on your A game if you are fetching beers in your boat.

Ha ha me too just a mellow river cruiser. Flo coated floors look great just takes awhile getting use too👍. Keep at it Jordan!

West marine does have the flocoat. Make sure you get it with wax added. You mix the color yourself they have a lot of colors to pick from. I'm not sure it's the best place just easy for me.

I get my stuff from Sher fab in Ontario,the staff there is super helpful. get a quart of Prestec super clear and a quart of the color gel you want. Mix 1:1 and I spray mine out of a harbor freight gun. 👍👍👍. Doing it this way should be a walk away finish. Bad photo example attached.

Flowcoat is definitely happening now! Thank you for all the suggestions.

So my idea is to lay carpet down the center area between the stringers as well as by the driver's and passenger's feet. The stringers won't have any carpet or flow coat on them, they look nice and I like the look of the wood. I want to flowcoat the bilge as well as the area between the the stringers and fuel tanks. I know a lot of you are anti-carpet, but kids will be on this boat frequently.
