ordered 3 to 9 bolt billet adapter for my steering wheel

looking for 4" polished SS tubing for exhaust manifolds and looking for 4" SS tips.

found tubing and gonna run it like so... just need the transom gaskets. its gonna look bad ass.

If you are making these yourself...Make a flange at the transom point outside. Drill 3 holes each side and use silicone with your ss hardware... I believe you could go this route as well. A transom ring then a transom seal with your exhaust running through it.

ahh transom ring seal. i was wondering what they were called. so it goes out the back like so:

im thinkin since it will still be at an angle id need to go with the 4 1/2" ID ones. how well do these seal and am i going to have a hell of a time getting the tube thru the gasket?

A little soap n water and you'll be fine but I would talk with a sales rep like rex or cp to get the details. I would put some conditioning fluid on the rubber when stored to keep em from cracking. I have butterfly flappers in my tips and spray water based dressing on em after every use.

my old stamped moroso covers fit. they're just ugly. oh well they'll have to work for now.

4" ss pipe is on its way, now just need to find a mandrel bender to put 2 curves in it then everything gets sent off to be polished and powdercoated. weee.

hopefully upholstery guy calls me soon, its been like 3 weeks. i might have to go there and whip him or something.

more parts showed up today.

steering wheel adapter

and a plate to mount my panther jet MUUUUCH more better than using washers... this should snug everything up nice and tight. thank you to Cas @ performanceboats for the hookup.

I agree, have it welded by a reputable person, but then they need pressure checked...........might be time to look into OT headers.........I also know where theres a couple sets of BBC Center Risers in VG condition though........

emi thunder risers are $380 a pair... worst case scenario. called the people at RM and they're no longer making exhaust anymore but dude was going to look around and see if he has a set laying around and get back to me tonight.

revolution marine contacted me and they no longer make exhaust manifolds... however after searching they were able to find a set of risers. yay! gonna continue fabbing with the hole'd one and then swap em out when the new set shows up. figure $400 for exhaust manifolds... still not a bad deal!
