If you are getting low on $$$ and you want to buy unexpected parts you will end up cheaping out and buying something that you didnt really want. use the ugly one, save your pennies and then buy the bling bling!

Valve hits the piston :banghead:  Motor is coming back out tomorrow , and maybe this weekend pw_Tony will come back and degree the cam for me ;D  Cam is also bigger than i thought so i need to get my other set of heads done and a new intake...

How bad is it hitting? Is it something that can be cured with a diffrent pushrod or rocker arm ratio?

Or just change the cam!

Yes that is an option and the cheapest way of doing it for now....... But i planned on upgrading the engine during the off season, so i decided to just do it all now. One time!!

It's smacking it pretty hard, I don't think the push rods are off enough to cause it, they are pretty close. And it's only got a 1.7 rocker arm ratio. I think we're going to degree in the cam and see if that clears it, and if not out comes the valve relief cutter. It's not that it's tight, it's just straight smacking the piston

So the stock height is 1.88, and the seat pressure is at 115lbs?
