Rhonda's boat is looking good! Won't the fellas be surprised when she goes out and hands out some ass whoopins' on the lake!!!

I have a couple of questions:

I see you've decided on a carb. What kind of set-up is Quick Fuel putting on it(referenced or not, PV #'s, jet sizes?)? You know, I've been wanting to update my carbs and now you're a dealer for them...

I see when you removed the 'old' engine, you lifted it with one of those carb plates from the blower. Is this a good idea? Have you done this before? I was going to make up a dual carb plate for my junk but instead opted to make a set of cables that bolt to the heads. I was afraid the load on the blower case would distort it and make trouble for me. Any comments?

John the blower has an ass load of bolts/ studs, the weights well distributed and  IMO its doubtful that distortion would /could occur?, anyhow I'm serene with it , Its the same way I took it out of the Bahner 20 hrs ago  ;D

re the Q/F Carb ,spent a long time with the Quick fuel folks (Zack) over the last week (ex Holley people ) The carb will be  boost referenced (extra 25 bucks )They even gave me the anno blue "alchohol blue" goodies (metering blocks) to color coordinate , don't know what else yet ,I just gave them the  engine "recipe'  cubes, cam, heads ,boost, ignition etc, etc and said please do your magic! I'll let you know more this next week i tried Biggs too ,very nice folks ,equally knowledgable and very helpfull  but truthfully I was looking for "dealer set up" as well as a carb for the Big boat... Tom

Along side all these engine tables I figure I'll throw a 460 on a stand and get to putting it together... Don't know what to put the engine into, but hell it's fun anyway.

Looking really good Tom. If Josh ever get's super busy and would like to take on someone for an apprentice position, I would love to be a candidate.
