I picked this thing up awhile ago and finally found some time to get her running and back on the water. She hadn’t been on the water since 05’ and of coarse had full fuel tanks when I got it. So first I “disposed” of all the old fuel. Then pulled all the plugs and made sure she rolled over clean. Then checked for spark and the old Mallory dual point had shit the bed so eBay hei and new plug wires replaced that. The carb was an old Holley vacuum secondary and I had a brand new demon on the shelf. Fresh fuel, new carb and dizzy and she fired off first hit of the key.

So the plan was to get her running and just run her for the summer but the windshield and bow rail were driving me crazy so I started the process of removing them. I think it looks waaay better. Knocked the “old man boat” off of it

We’ve had it out a lot lately and having a blast with it. Plans are just continue to re rig and new interior as well as a trailer refresh so I’ll continue this post as progress continues

Very cool boat.
Mine still has the bow rail and windshield, has the 'old man look', but I'm getting old anyways.
Looks great
