Answering my own question, works fine

I step forward, 2 steps back

Got the boat 1/2 way over, reached under to pull from the bottom, and POP

The front line came off and the entire weight of the boat fell on my fingers

Then it " flipped the rest of the way over, releasing my fingers, and caught one of the legs of the cherry picker in the back and gouged pretty bad.
Well lesson learned, the VERY painful way, I shouldn't have a problem flipping it back once I finish the work on the bottom.
Fingers are intact, surprisingly I don't believe they are broken, just swollen double size
Thats going to hamper my finishing the bottom as it is my right hand
