It's all a crapshoot of trial and error, my recomendation would be to chase down someone who has the same hull and find out what did and did not work, might save you some grief, not to mention some dough!

Some hulls respond to every "bolt on" you can throw at them, some don't, some respond to weight distribution, some don't, I think as long as things are proper i.e; bottom blueprinting, motor and pump placement, horsepower and wot rpm (matching to pump work), and overall rigging, 80mph can be attained without building a NASA spec machine, but everything has to be at least close.
It all boils down to homework and money.
