Unfortunately I had a real long talk with TIMINATOR today. He's a real friendly, knowledgeable, and very well communicative man. 800 NA HP + jet drive = equal triple digits <---- not so easy to do. It can definately be done, but the impellor would be like a B/C cut or worse, plus a inducer is mandatory. The engine has to spin some pretty serious RPM's to get that much HP (compared to racing BBC's spinning 9,500 RPM's). He said it will kill me in fuel ($). Hmmm... but my plan was to build the engine this year and get to the pump next year... the combination I am going with is already proven - in a v-drive...

I'm running out of time, I want to go to Parker in June.

Injection is nice but I'd rather be blown?

Make a decision and run with it...

waay too gay for a blower. jus grab an injector and go w/ it, u already got the pistons. as few parts as possible. it cost me $600 to have that washer crack in my blower last summer

IT would be faster ans cheapper to put a 2.5 mercury outboard on it (Warlock will like that)

What is the current cost of alcohol compared to gasoline? It might be cheaper in the long run to real alcohol, not the E85 your thinking about.

Only problem from what I've been told is you would need about ~30 gallons to run the Parker Strip once.

Yep, mileage, or lack thereof, is going to be a problem. With as little as I go out to the river and itsn't going to make or break the river trip's anyway. I have no idea what alcohol costs or even where to get it, maybe A/A Paul will chime in... E85 is about $2.85 a gallon. One way or the other, sooner or later, I am going to reach my goal.
