Beerjet, if the internet is soley a joke to you and all of it is to be taken lightly or with a grain of salt, then now we both know why I don't take your advice on my threads.
I'm a broke dik with no budget trying to reach a goal and keep the family with a roof over their head at the same time. My project is not a joke to me and neither is this thread but that doesn't mean I can't (or other's can't) joke around within this thread.
As far as what I have accomplished, why do you give a phuk? What's your list of achievements - wait nevermind because I don't care what you've achieved.
I've rebuilt a jet boat, while almost all people were telling me that I couldn't resell it at a profit when I was done with it, and then I sold it for a profit.. People just like you Beerjet, after all it's just the internet.

The guy was really really cool. Picked his brain for quite some time. I got to crawl all over his boat and ask him anything about it. It was really enlightning (sp?). Problem is the same thing, never can make up my mind. Then once I make up my mind I find new information that I didn't have before and I start second guessing my original plan - again.

Over and over and over.

Yes he has MFI, yes it's a tunnel jet, yes he's got a BBC similar in size to mine, yes it does well over a 100, yes he's running alcohol, yes he's out of gas really quick. He said (loose qoute, talking about both his boat and mine), "basically what you're trying to do is build a race boat that isn't a race boat, it's lay up isn't a race boat, you've got two seats in it, you're hauling a ton of fuel, it's all a compromise, you either want to go fast for a short distance or you want to go slower for a longer distance."
If those are my choices, I'm thinking that I want to go fast for a short distance, but...
