sorry was hoping to come by on saturday like i told you, but had to make a emergency trip to vegas @ 10:30 friday night for my father in laws suprise wedding...and lost 200.00 @ craps , oh well new truck ran bitchen though...got home @ midnight last night .....so tired!!!

Brad, why don't you just slap a SCJB sticker on that sander and consider it my donation to the cause. Only provision being that it is loaned to any pleasant member of this community who for any reason needs a sander for their boat.

Sorry I didn't make it on Sunday; I actually woke up at 4am (as you saw) for some reason so just got up; did some SCJB'ing then started reviewing lacrosse rules for the test I had to take yesterday; drove to Long Beach for LONG meeting and test and got home around 5:00; problem was I was so tired I couldn't get myself moving.
BTW, I passed the test with 98%.

I just ordered the paint ...they wont be here for a week...so in the mean time, im going to start rigging the internals and get everything ready to go.

The plan is to finish sanding the bottom and get it flipped back over on the trailer tomorrow....then start doing fiberglass repair throughout the boat.

Congrats on another great find. That Liberty looks to be one of the "blue boats". What does it weigh? It might be a Kevlar boat... Competition Marine originally rigged it. This means that the Crew Chief of the Rasberry ( Jeff Bennett) layed the boat up at Liberty and the Driver ( Craig Millet ) rigged it and sent it out the door. How's that for history repeating itself?

Its much heavier then the raspberry...so i doubt its a kevlar boat....but that would be cool

no, we just sanded it down very well on the bottom....its glossy cuz its wet....thats just after i hosed it down.
