New to jet boats 79 rogers

I'm a honda guy and helped on a few cars that been in Honda tuning magazine , but since my bro in law took me to their river house in Parker and got hooked. I was looking non stop for a perfect boat that had the shape I really likedand came across this 79 rogers. It's a project for sure but I'm up for the challenge.

What kind of motor are you going to run? What do you have to do to get it on the water?

Gonna run a big block chevy , I pretty much just have the pump, hull. I need motor, seats and wiring
