Steve, the Blue thingy is the part that went in on top of the golf club and the gold thingy.



I think the gold thingy is supposed to keep the parts into the blue thingy, I'm not sure, but it did kill 1 chebby pretty handily. Might been a fluke, but you weren't watching anyway.

OK, Problem. Started disassembling the top end to install the intake, have it half tore apart,



Started putting new carb studs in the intake, set up both carbs, and the ONLY way they will fit is with the fuel inlets and throttle assemblies on opposite sides. never seen this before. Seen sideways mounted, but that's not possible without 2" carb spacers Something I am not gonna do.




Any suggestions? Looks like I'm gonna need one wild ass throttle linkage for it, or new carbs

Any way to reverse everything on one of these Marine Carbs? I know it used to be done on DP's, but I beleive these are SP's. Still should be able to swap the bowls end for end and get the fuel line on the same side, at least, but what about the throttle shafts?

Gonna be bad ass when it's on tho





It's a Weiand tunnel, and Holley Carbs, Part number (On the carbs), 9015-1, D746.

Thanks Terry! I don't think there's one on there already, as the choke horns are facing each other., they're identical in line. Dunno either way, is there a way to tell?

But reverse is what I need to do on one. Damnit When I Think I'm done, something else I gotta wait on and spend money on.

Sounds great tho if it lets me use a standard linkage and the fuel lines I already have.

  Are you serious? lol No, they were used on a tunnel of some sort, for 2 days, then swapped out for 660's on a BBC. Came from Wash state (Could be Canadien though I suppose?)

I don't think you can go to the single feed bowls (would give clearance needed) with those bodies.  

The only thing I have seen that works is mounting sideways 

You could try to fabricate a dual cable system (one from the front and one from the rear)

Outstanding, texting my machinist brother as we speak. Maybe some heim joints and a bearinged shaft running between or behind them. The fuel lines are not a problem, really, the linkage is gonna look kinda frankensteinish I have a feeling. Damn me for sticking to my guns on this!

I'm not entirely sure even a manifold change will help. I think the problem lies in the fact that these are marine carbs, single pump, dual feed. Gonna wait and see if my bro has time to machine a couple of billet brackets tonight or tomorrow. I think I've got it worked out in my lil brain. As far as it working? well, another matter. There's enough room between them to run a shaft, and that can be mounted on brackets on either side bolted to the bolts holding the upper/lower intake together. Make a shaft for between them and some heim joints, viola. Gonna depend on whether he can make them or not.

Gonna drop one of 'em back on for now, until I get this worked out.  Don't wanna lose lake time on this.

Yeah, I agree, smaller single feeds would be easier, but I'm not gonna let this little thing beat me. I think it can be done and work properly. If not, well, I been wrong before and will again. Sideways will not work without 2" carb spacers, and at that, none of the bolt holes line up, so not just a spacer, but an adapter of some sort, if they even make it. The manifold is new, but don't know year of manufacture.

Besides, looks kinda cool with the choke horns facing each other.

Anyone got an 850 or 950 laying around in good shape? I'm thinking I want to run one on it for now while I work out this WY-AND HOW deal.
