Ray has made a deal on a new project to be delivered to him   Heres the pictures that he sent me.

Its a 26ft Cruiser with a mid cabin and an open bow. I believe it to be original, not a modified backyard project

It's actually 26', since the PO took a tape to it. This IS certifiably nuts though.......

Double the work, Double the cost, Double the pain, Double the gas bill. But once you see Double rooster tales and Double the "Cool" factor you will have Double the Pride and Deserve Double the Respect for such a build and that's worth it in my opinion, The Name must have a double or twin in it even if it's "Double Trouble's" Or "Twins for You to View", Cool Find and Good luck.    Roy.

I think that hull absolutely rocks!    BUT the twin jet thing  . . .  not so much.   Too complicated and would never be much of a performer.   And yes, just to confirm, I am certain Ray has lost his mind.

I'll get some better pics up when it gets here. It's in much better condition than those phone pics show. Should be a fun build! there's about a truckload and a half of parts for it, a lot of them new, like the center rise exhaust manifolds, the engine hatch, etc. He figures about $7k just in the new parts, I think that is a little low estimate.

I think it's gonna stick with the 460's, since all that is there for them. What I wind up doing to them I haven't decided yet. Real work is building the floor and interior! But I get to do it MY way!  

I think everyones gonna be involved in this thing at one point or another.........

Twin jets run good, triples even better, it will actually work out to quite a bit less than double the fuel consumption.

Tell me about it, my bank accounts are lookin at me sayin "WTF?" But yeah, I think that name might suit it best!

Oh, and Nordie, that IS a factory deck on it. It has some "optional" deck hatch, which I assume is just a hinged, padded lid that might be recessed in a bit. Haven't seen a pic of what it looks like yet, but it is listed as an option on the Ambassador. As are the two extra windows.
