OC ,Happy to say that that Mikes gonna get the "full tilt boogie blueprint here" (just got of the phone)

Tom, I am actually watching this thread VERY closely! I have been wanting to swap for a while but had never seen anyone do it or at least not anyone who took notes and made them public. It is looking like I might have to switch out the transom so my option are pretty open for having to cut a new hole in the back for the pump.

OC Happy that you folks enjoy this stuff ,folks that play these things "close to the vest" are selfish ,my theory is if you want to try it your self go for it , if you don't feel confortable or dont have the time, tools and "where with all" you bring it to me (or somebody qualified) any way Josh and I are happy to help with whatever you guys want to tackle ! its alllllllll the way outside, nuts to buts with the transom plates that have yet to be made

. Alot of times when you see inspection cover in the middle of the plate, its because the installer didn't want to cut through the bottom corner of the transom on the set back,(or because that particular boat like the intake in that particular spot).

Heres some pics of the dissassembly

, it was a tad stubborn

And a bit worn (7.204 on the impeller 7.268 + on the wear ring) not to mention massive steam burn on the impeller face

You can see where the psi was pushing the bowl gasket out over time

What paint do you guys use when repainting the pumps? I want to take mine apart before summer and either re-paint or re-powder coat just make it look all purdy and chit again.
