Thanks Jordon and Nick. I have been trying to keep the boat under wraps till AVI, providing the pump gets completed. Once that's over I will finish this blog up I have lots of pictures of the wins and the losses. I had a lot of help from Dennis, when he's not bossing and drinking beer he is a pretty good hand. We both have been educated in the last six months working on both boats at the same time. We have hade some highs and some lows there was even a few times we thought we new what we were doing. Not sure I would do this again but once was fun. We both keep our total cost for our projects and I think we both got sick this morning when we added it up. I would like to think Dennis and SOCALJETBOATS for the help I received and if all works out I will see you all at AVI. Thanks All

Jim, I have a similar quote that gets thrown around my garage a lot, "it's almost like we know what we're doing!" When doing these projects sometimes we get it right, sometimes we don't. I love the learning experience. You and Dennis are killing it on these wingers!

thanks Jordan! And yes we know that feeling. Lol and you have also done an amazing job on your boat. I know I don't have anywhere close to the quality, craftsmanship or knowledge to be a marine shop or fabricator but it is fun making some of your own parts and assembling your own boat and being able to say I did this!

Yeah Jordon we thought we knew what we were doing a couple times but we got over it pretty quick. I can honestly say I know every nut and bolt in this boat they are all new. The only thing that was not changed was the intake other then that it's all new. Right now I'm in a spot where I'm as far as I can go without parts and I miss working on it, habit I guess. It will be nice to get to Avi and see all the boats that got a face lift this year. Thanks Jordon

Your best bet is to start a new thread in "project" section of the forum, and the folks here are gonna need a lot more information. Ask as many questions as you can there, show pics and progress. Tons of help here on the site.

Yes sir Danny that will come later this summer. That is the reason I went with the 19 over the 18 also when I'm going to fast my wife can't reach my quite as well. How is your quest for a new boat coming? Will you be at AVI with Dave he has said he was trying to get you out there? Big question 18 or 19? Looks like I will be making the trip to AVI after all boat is done for the most part. I'm not sure what you know since you have been absentee lately to the site. The boat got a new bottom new loader new shoe All new angles for shoe ride plate nozzle. The boat feels like I have added 300 horse power then before so long story short all that Chris at B-1 has done has been great including the pump. The kicker to the whole deal is we did go ahead and add another 300 horse power to go on top of the rest. The boat is a fast family boat and it will stay that way as long as I own it. Your lucky you sold the boat of yours or you would of been on the top of the hit list from above.
