Actually, quite right, and I was wrong on my post in your other thread as well. JE pumps are all kinda "setback" with the intake being part of the suction housing. (Other Berks have the intake separate, the JE and JF are unique this way). Advantage's include the low mount cable system, looks much cleaner and has better "feel" being inline with the output of the jet, if the Place Diverter is set close to neutral.
You'll hear good and bad, but my Moo has the same pump and runs out just fine, so I kinda ignore the bad,

. Yeah, it cavitates when I flat foot it from a standing start, and no loader, so it'll suck air from time to time on some chop, but still runs like hell when I get into it!
