No apologies needed. I was trying to include other people not myself, just so this would be a top ten not top seven. But to clarify if someone can't make a call out, will they be kicked off or bumped down like a forfeit?

. They lose the position just as they would of lost. If your calling out someone they get to pick the spot we try to work together.

Why am I not on the list? I raced your top two and beat the number one guy on fathers day? Oh, wait I don't have that boat anymore.....So, im just going to call out the top guy when I come back out, no need to race a 80 mph boat....

I like the rules put down.

•must attend 2 socaljetboats events with that same boat/motor combo.

•You can only call out 2 spots above you

I would like to throw these rules out there. See what you all think.

•any boat running over 90 MPH is required to have a kill switch

•any boat running over 100 MPH is required to have a lifeline type life jacket.

•800 FT track with a flag start/hand start

I like those rules, but I can see flag/hand start being a controversial matter. I suggested that and got shot down saying that's not river racing

Well if they would hurry up and finish the hull I will be back out next summer, have pretty much everything but a hull. B1 is finishing up on some top secret pump stuff for me, then rig the boat and dyno the engine to see how the upgrades affected it. Getting excited about it, just don't like spending the money its taking to build this thing, that's the part that hurts.

Is the kill switch that has been mentioned a tether like on a SeaDoo that kills the motor if you're ejected, or something else?

I still like the hand signal or flag start given by a third party for two reasons:

With two evenly matched boats, the driver giving the nod will always have a slight advantage, and;

Instead of looking at each other, the drivers will be looking forward at the river in front of them.

A hand/flag start would require more people to stage a race though.

Yes sir that's what it is. And I wouldn't mind flag/hand either cut down on boat runs and make fair starts.... But I'm good with good ole river racing starts too!

Yes you are on point with the kill switch. Some times there is no flag guy or no need for another boat making wakes. But it will work some times. It still will cause problems like we were not ready, he was out in front when it was flagged I guess it is just what can of worms do you want to open.
