Wow, how weird that your engine temp would rise due to the water out there. It was really warm too, it had to have been well over 80 deg. water temp, it was also even lower than I remember being out there about eight months ago. I'm not sure if that lake will recover it's level anytime soon, and I doubt the condition of the water will ever improve. So for me it's just going to be going out to the river, I still wouldn't mind trying Pyramid Lake once, I never been there. Our last trip out to the Colorado River this year will most likely be Thanksgiving weekend if the weather is nice, last year it was beautiful.
