It seem crazy to loss a guy towing a boat. I guess you just never know. I hate to hear this happy to anybody and feel for the family.

Yes the story my coworker told me just didn't make any sense. I was trying to understand how this would happen but couldn't come up with any real accidental conclusions. Sounds super fishy the way he told me. He mentioned that he may need to leave work for a funeral then told the story. After he told me the story is when I posted here.

Not sure, not trying to accuse of anything just saying it didn't make since to me. Whenever I take my boats out everyone on it is always kept an eye on. Iknow from fist hand that loosing a loved one doing something you and they love is really hard to deal with.

Seen the story on the Internet news, and I felt the same way a few of you do. My thoughts were was any alcohol involved, non-swimmers wearing life jackets while on the boat, things of that nature. Seems like a little boater education and safety could have changed the scenario outcome drastically.

I agree its a horrible and sad thing to hear... but my question is what really happened?

I mean we've all enjoyed our fair share of boat sodas, and i can promise you i would notice if someone went overboard. There have been times (im not driving) but even still i would notice.

I think it was dark when he fell off and his boat was under tow cause he ran out of gas. Not exactly sure but that's what I heard

They said they couldn't see him due to it being dark and the water splashing up between the boats. Dustin was out there all the time though and I'm sure had a few beers but so tragic! I'm wondering if he was knocked out when he fell off?!?! Just so crazy either way......

I was told by someone close to the family that he was sitting on the engine cover with his feet on the swim step of the tow boat and had been drinking and that the exhaust fumes and the mixture of the alcohol may have caused him to pass out and fall. And it was getting dark

It's unfortunate to say the least.

No life jacket...maybe he got hit on head just right by towed boat...

At least the family is able to get closure, now that he's been found. I'm sure they'd be able to find out what exactly was his COD.
