Hey, new guy here. Wasn't sure what my first post would be about but I thought I'd chime in on this thread. Just finished  helping my father in law on the restoration of our first family boat. My wife has been boating her whole life but it's all pretty new to me and I'm loving it. Anyway, we took the boat out to Elsinore 2 weeks ago to test, and it was nasty! Here's a couple pics if anyone was interested in its recent condition. Oh, and so I can show off our boat.

Clean boat!! Yea definitely go to perris next time man, just make sure the boat is dry, like completely dry... dry ropes and everything and anything in the ski compartment on the floor... it's clean though and not crowded at all

Thanks Jordan. My father in law is a huge Rogers fan so it's only fitting that I would carry on the tradition.

How does the boat run? I have the same hull, but the Advantage version with an open bow. There doesn't seem to be many of these boats on the water so I'm always interested to see how others perform. You should start a thread in the boat showcase section.

I saw that! It runs great! It would be cool to see a thread full of Rogers and see how many guys have the day cruisers.

So a friend went last week to lake elsinore to attempt to test out his boat.  He backed in and changed his mind once he seen the water. He sent me this photo. Zoom in and see how the algae is stuck on the swim step lol. Had to be power washed off.

Curious if the rain and colder temps have knocked down that thick green sludge at the launch ramps?

Anyone near by to take a few pics?

The lake is bitchen right now, seems like it went up alot higher than 8ft. It's at it's normal level right now at 1240.7 above sea level. Just got a new boat for the summer!

I'm stoked! Elsinore is so close to the house and week days are so quiet out there.

It helps me scratch the itch between river trips too.

Water quality is a lot better than last summer... water is higher than it has been in years, watch fencing and trees when pulling up to shore, get to know the lake. U couldnt see your feet before, oh and the cove is super full
