Cool deal, weather should be really nice, I'm going to try and be up there about 9:00ish. This will be my first trip up there. I hear from some others and other form postings that they are super anal about any wetness for that mussel. I keep my boat super clean and dry, but I heard they even check for any water still in the jet bowl...
..Got news for all of them, it's a boat!..there will always be some residual water in places. What about the 2 1/2 gallons of water still in the block and heads?...My boat hasen't been in any water in five weeks, but I'm still going to blow some air through the bowl and intake, just to be sure. In my opinion I don't see how this Quagga mussel can be stopped, it's just something every body of water has to deal with.
