Just yesterday, at Rotary park, I had seen a few close calls. One was a 26' Eliminator going 90+.... through a pack of freakin jetskis, why not slow down? Another was a Jet boat, with the diverter up trying to hose the beach. And the last one was a bunch of guys on a boat, that was 15' up on shore at 11:00 last night, obviously had ran it up shore by the marks, but when I asked them what happened they just said "we parked and the water dropped" yea ok. But I had also seen a bunch of jet skis making turns without looking, jumping wakes. But the funniest one I seen was a guy driving a large Cat, blowing his air horn at a jet ski that was doing donuts, as the boat was going by..... oh yea the boater had the horn in one hand, and the other hand had a big middle finger, and not looking where he was going cause he was staring at the skit

I believe there should be boating licenses, for all watercraft. Even though I have been boating on the river since The weekend I was born, I still wouldn't mind having to take one to keep people safer. My uncle was ran over by drunk boater, luckily he survived, and then I lost a friend a couple years back, and the passenger lost her leg, due to a drunk boater. I think anyone can be dangerous, there just needs to be more awareness
