That happens at all makes of dealers.
Dealers are independantly owned. Like any rest or retail store, If you don't like the service at one, find another.
Yeah well I went to 5 different dealerships with different problems and still got no satisfaction. Had one tell me that the fact that my electric window didn't go up was just an "inconvenience". Had a shifter handle come off in my hand and was told "that can't happen". Had a service manager tell me after the third try at fixing the trans "Detroit doesn't know why it won't downshift, but no we won't replace your trans that only has 12K on it."
The shifter took 6 tries to get fixed and they still wouldn't give me a rental car!
Funny how when the state gets involved and you stand in front of the dealership with a bigass sign scaring away customers attitudes change.
Like I said, GM from bottom to top cares squat about keeping customers. All the above problems and more were under warranty, most under 35K miles. But hey go ahead and buy that Silverado. Chevy runs deep alright.
