Good seeing you today Tom, always a pleasure. I had a great time this weekend, some really amazing races, not only in the Nostalgia Jet class, the crackers were killer as were the K boats. Finally met a lot of you guys this weekend, y'all are a bunch of fun, next time I'll bring more Tri Tip  O0

Brad-you're up with details....

Had a great time this weekend at the races. Great meeting some of you I havent yet met. As for Skip...AWESOME tri tip bro. Great potato salad as well. Please give props to the little lady. I am sure Brad will post all the details. Unless something has changed from this afternoon, Brad's camera is MIA. Hopefully not for long. I took a ton of pics so here are a few.

I had a great time as usual and its always cool hanging with everyone . Glad everyone is OK . David was talking about how it's a complete clusterfuck in the first turn and if you end up in someones roost there is literally ZERO visability and your just driving blind and I thought that was an understatement  :o What a fukin blast this is  ;D.

On the down side , sunday was not so good .....

man....what a weekend.

big thanks to marc Sebastian and Kyle for the help getting things set up, maintained and packed up.

Also, Big thanks to Tom and Rhonda for helping out the guys during crunch time for the past couple of weeks doing whatever they can to help out to make sure everyone was up and running this weekend.

....and then there's Skip (Luckie Stiff) and his wife...They showed up with some pre-marinated tri-tips that were to die for...and the home made 'tater salad....yum. He would give the recipe to anyone, but me. Many thanks to Skip.

Also, thanks to the Team and their crews for busting their ass's to put on a good, safe show. Every race was exciting.

Also, I don't have a picture of it because I lost track of my camera all day Sunday (but I found it before we left).....but Tom and Rhonda showed up with a Birthday cake for the site. This thing looked amazing.....and it tasted just like it looked. It was unfortunate that you guys were unable to stay for it. Everyone loved it.

Unfortunately, Rick Ortega's boat (lilrick - Cj32) flipped in the 1st heat on Sunday. He banged his knee and shin while being pitched out and has a sore shoulder and wrist. He is expected to be ok and should be seeing a doc today just to be sure. The boat went unharmed and with everyone's help and with Tom directing the madness, the motor was drained and running again within a few hours.

Thanks to everyone for the successful 2007 season with the SCSC. First race for 2008 is only 7 weeks away.

Thanks again to everyone's support, I hope to see this team/family/community continue to grow. I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to be a part of.

Brad-
Glad you liked my meat :o :o :o That spice rub is one of my own creations. Had a ton of fun hanging with
you guys this past weekend, anyone coming for the NJBA in 2 weeks? The wife has decided that she wants
to race with you boys, but she wants Ralph to mentor her. As I said before if you guys need anything while you're up here, passing through, whatever, don't hesitate to call, I'll do whatever I can to help out. I've got tons of floor space and a spa to work out the day's bruises, and it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the Howard Johnson's!

See you guys soon

PS: Brad, if you want the recipe, I'll happily give it up......
