Hey Tomale,

Don't take this the wrong way brother, but that would hold me until lunch too......... On Thursday.

Lol

Wow bro, we're here for you, but that isn't going to work bud.

Two poached eggs, no toast, a couple pieces of bacon and some fruit.

Don't forget the big 'ol glass of water or vegetable juice.

And don't wait until you feel hungry at lunch to eat again.  Have a little snack a couple hours after you have breakfast, then a modest lunch. Don't forget the water.

Think of it like this.

Your metabolism works sort if like a fuel gauge with dual tanks. If you wait until it says "empty", you have to fill up both tanks.  However, if you "top off" the small tank and periodically draw off the big tank (we'll call that one the fat cells) with half a tank left, you won't feel hungry and the body won't feel the need to always fill back up to 100%. Eventually burning of those fat cells.

It will take a few weeks to get used to it, but you should be eating a little smakeral every so often.

Keep fruit and celery and crap handy. They keep very well and when your just starting to feel like you could eat something, much in a carrot or an apple. Celery, while I will admit tastes pretty blah, have virtually no calories, but is high in dietary fiber. It actually takes more energy to eat and digest it than it has. Sort of like exercise.

If you can't handle plain celery, make some onion dip with low fat sour cream. But dip shallow... lol

Get after it dude. The knee will not heal itself unless you drop the extra person off your back.

I'm in your corner bud.

I been losing about 10 lbs a month since June 3 of last year and an down 110 lbs believe it or not. I'd post before and after pic when I figure out how to. Is funny how a health scare can  change everything in your life some for better or worse. The whole weight lose thing is no secret eat take in less increase your output and it falls off But the real key is will power. To me my two year old girl means more to me then eating a cake or big Mac or sodas I would do anything for her. I want to be able to go on rides with her play everything I should be able to do and couldn't at 360 lbs but now at 247 lbs I can and do I am 6'4" so I've always been able to hide my weight but now I don't half to. Just keep on working on it if you want it bad enough it will happen.

Honestly I don't eat crap. 99% of the time I eat proper. Whether it be oatmeal for breakfast, a chicken patty for snack a sandwich an then another chicken patty. Then I have chicken or a salad for dinner. I don't like sodas I like ice tea no sugar. But once in awhile I hit my depression and I just keep eating. That's how I got so big. These past 2 weeks I worked a total of 3 days. So I got depressed and ate. Now I'm paying for it. When I'm at work it's hard for me to eat right but I try. It'll happen.  I've done it twice before and I can do it again. I ain't scurred

. Driving a truck is a tough gig for eating right. Things will get better hang in there.  That breakfast did look good I will agree with that.

I hike every Saturday and walk almost every night.  The pedometer app in my phone says I average 16,000 steps a day at work. I buy new boots everyone 6 months.

Crazy.

On mothers  day weekend  i was bitching at my wife for working  against  me on trying  to get myself and household  to a healthy  lifestyle.  She is pregnant  so i cant give her to much shit.but after her ordering pizza and me giving in she decided  on her mothers day present. We ordered the ninja blender (mega kitchen ) .it came with the nutri-ninja cups . So we decided to start  making the fruit and vegetable  smoothies  for breakfast. Today im on my 3rd day of having them .i am eating  more fruits  and  vegetables  than i have in my entire  life . The taste isn't " Oh My God " good but they are drinkable. As of thursday 5-14 i have been  working  out and trying  healthy  eating  for 8 weeks.  I haven't  really weighed myself, but i have noticed  a big difference  in the  way my clothes  fit. I think ill wait till i have been at it for 12 weeks to post another  picture  in my boxers. I need to start hitting  the weights soon and get my muscle back  so i dont have a bunch of loose skin.
