What kind of anchor do you have?

I haven't been on that part of the river, but the water level fluctuates from the morning to the afternoon.
You might need to be prepared to change the length of your anchor line.

Also called a slide anchor or u could just use an old crank like some of the other guys use. Just make sure that the guy that has that big ass boat pulling a wake border doesn't come by and cut your line when no won is around this seams to happen a lot.

Yes box anchor is the way to go.

You really won't need anything. Most people just beach it there

It's the nice thing about a jet. No hanging props to trim up. When coming up to the beach. Only thing I would bring is something to use as a sand spike to clip the bow to when beached so the boat doesn't slide off and drift down river.

Beaching works great out of current, there are some bars that aren't all the way exposed depending on where you go. Around the lower river (Blythe, etc) there's tons of places that will require an anchor of some sort. Also, Bobby, don't forget to bring my box and spike on the next trip ;-)

Here's an alternative to a box anchor.  I use one of these and I only boat on the lower river, anchoring in the current.  This holds great, doesn't drag up all the mud like a box anchor, doesn't require any chain, and is around 1/2 price of a box. I got mine from Overton's because they had a free shipping promo and I bought a couple other things at the same time, but Amazon has these for like $75.00.
