Boating licence??

From what I read, if you're coming from another state that states rules apply. So you would not have to get a California boating license.

I figured this would come around sooner or later. They did this sorta thing to ohv, quads, dirtbikes etc. So I stopped riding and sold my desert toys.

AAA offered a discount on insurance if you had boating licence. Good information, sent the book and was free to take the test when I sent it in.

boatus.com has an online course that is approved for the license

Took me about 3 hours to do. Some questions were difficult, had a lot more to do with Ocean navigating and commerical ports/shipping lanes. But regardless its not bad info to know

They even had an entire PWC section.

It was free and they sent me the safety certificate right away

Now in Jan i can send it to DBW pay my 10 bucks and i dont have to worry about it

Yes its stupid... But its Commiefornia...

I think it should be a driver license endorsement like my M1
