Anyone know what the new mandate for 15% ethanol is gonna do to jet boats? We are not familiar with it here in Texas what can any of you tell me about it here?

You will need to have alcohol resistant fuel lines if you don't already. The ethanol can permiate through it posing a possible fire hazard..

More compression and or more ignition timing is more doable also (alcohol has a very high octane rating).

As a negative the mileage will drop 2-5% because there are less BTU's per pound in ethanol versus gasoline and it dies quicker (ages) because of the affinity for water.... Meaning get a good water separating fuel filter..
