first I beveled the holes on both sides then i took a 3" hole saw drilled 2 1/2" plugs and glassed them in then I used a da sander smoothed them out then filled with fiberglass bondo you can get it at home depot sanded primered done

do yerself a favor and mask off the area that doesnt need to be covered with some tape and waxpaper.  that way u dont have to sand the drips of resin off.

Also you can make a little tray out of the tape and paper when you're working on the vertical sides to catch the drips

oh I got the paint in the other day so when the it a little warmer i will start painting corvette white and Im taking my block to the machine shop next week I will post pics as I go

I use arringdales on I street I dont know if I spelt that right they do good work and they good prices and fast :thumbup:
