Cool it on the running a car on water...  There are no calories in water, no energy to burn... unless these snake oil salesmen can show that they can separate Hydrogen from oxygen without using more power than you could ever get from the resulting gasses they should be arrested for fraud. If we had developed solar cells for home heating and power as we could have fifty years ago we would not have this issue today.  Personally I'm looking into an electric car for day to day driving leaving 80% of my fuel budget to get to the races.

Im just waiting for the day people start rioting and stealing gas. Its outta control. Our govt. is full of old farts with no balls to step up to other countries. I wonder how much all those Arabs over there pay for gas?

Saudi Arabia Riyadh $0.91
Kuwait Kuwait City $0.78
Egypt Cairo $0.65
Nigeria Lagos $0.38
Venezuela Caracas $0.12

From this web site:
http://money.cnn.com/pf/features/lists/global_gasprices/

Saudi Minimum wage is about 8.65 Saudi riyals or 2.33 US Dollars
US Federal Minimum wage is $5.85 (Federal level to compare apples to apples)

So, we make 250% more on minimum wage than Saudi people BUT currently pay about 500% more than they do for fuel

I don't see the govt temporarily reducing the $.50+ in fuel taxes they charge us for each gallon of fuel. If we were able to start getting oil from our own resources, it would drive the price of foreign oil down to acceptable levels. Don't get me started on the "tree huggers", they got half the dunes closed for some stupid weed. Now the weed is dying because there are no duners helping spread it around lol. I also saw a pic of tire tracks in the dunes with a caption that says it will take hundreds of years for the tracks to go away. Yeah okay, anyone who has seen the dunes in a sand storm knows those tracks are gone in 30 minutes!!! They really piss me off.

Someone asked him two months ago how much gas was... he answered $2.50 gal.  :banghead:

Ask all your friends who are voting for hope and change "what is Obama's plan to help us?"  Pelosi promised us two years ago that now that the Party of Donkeys was in charge that they would ease the price at the pump to help the working man.  How's that goin' Nancy?  What part of the plan are you implementing now, huh???

No new drilling.    No new refineries.    No new incentives for bio-diesel or hydrogen research.    The only move has been to disrupt the third world's food supply because we are now using food (corn) to make a fuel that nobody wants.

BUT gays can now marry and we are selliing some of our best nuclear technology to Saudi Arabia and China because they are stable, staunch allies of ours who always come to our aid.   McCain ain't much but he's all we got right now.

Yeah kinda makes a neat little "end of life on Earth" scenario don't it?   I cannot believe so few people are even just a little bit alarmed.  Actually it is probably our own capitalistic greed that will bring us down first luckily (fewer people will die that way).  The founding fathers put in the small print on the early Republic that Capitalism will only work if the people are moral and directed with inner goodness in the decisions that they make.  You can see every day what happens when people are only in it for themselves i.e.  mortgage scandal.  A lot of diff peeps had to overlook a lot of stuff day after day for it to get to where it did, but look at the result when greed was the motivating factor in everyday life.
I am so glad to know that China and Saudi have the same culture rooted in Christian goodness that I was brought up in.  It will help me sleep at night I'm sure, knowing that global warming is my biggest fear.

Now excuse me while I go back to digging my bong, I mean BOMB shelter  :banghead:
